General Exams
Dental health all starts with a comprehensive exam. You’ll receive the most thorough dental exam possible. We will check for cavities, chipped or broken teeth, and can talk to you about any missing teeth. We also screen for oral cancer, TMJ, loose crowns and fillings and more.
We are also very thorough in checking for, preventing and treating gum disease, which is important to your overall health. On your first visit Dr. Toubian will make sure to talk to you about any issues with your oral health, taking full mouth x-rays and, if necessary, creating study models for extensive restoration cases.
Dental Implants & Dentures
Implants are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root. Implants mimic the look and feel of natural teeth, and are a permanent solution to missing teeth. We will work with an implant specialist to create an implant for a missing single tooth, missing multiple teeth, or replace a removable appliance.

Teeth Bleaching
Our state-of-the-art, in-office Power Bleaching system will make your teeth whiter in less than 1.5 hours. Another option is our home bleaching system you take with you for results in 2 weeks. You can also consider a combination program of both systems for optimal, long-term results.
People with stained or dull teeth usually benefit from whitening, which is a safe and effective way to brighten stained, discolored or dull teeth. Even a stubborn single tooth that is noticeably duller or less white than your other teeth can be individually brightened.

Crowns and Veneers
In just two or three dental visits, a veneer can reverse years of stains caused by foods, caffeine and tobacco use. Special thin laminates, called veneers, can also be used to correct discolored, worn down, cracked and chipped teeth. Veneers can also be used to close unsightly gaps between teeth. Stronger types of veneers made of porcelain, also called composite veneers, typically last longer because they are bonded to the tooth.

Fillings
Resin fillings are a great alternative to traditional, ‘silver’ fillings. These tooth-colored filings are light cures to match your teeth.
Amalgam fillings, are the more classic, silver-colored filings, which are made from a more durable material.
Periodontal Treatment
For optimal oral health, you should have a standard cleaning at least twice a year. A basic periodontal treatment includes an adult prophy, which involves light scaling of the teeth above the gum line as well as a polishing the teeth.
If it has been over a year since your last cleaning, and your gums need a little more work, we can include either periodontal scaling, which is a deeper cleaning of the gums and teeth, or root planning and scaling, which requires anesthetic.
Mouth Guards
Whether you are an athlete or casual sports participant, you should wear a mouth guard to protect your teeth. If you grind your teeth while you sleep, a bite guard will help reduce symptoms of TMJ. We custom make mouth guards in both soft and hard materials.
A well-fitted mouth guard can prevent serious injuries such as concussions, cerebral hemorrhages, incidents of unconsciousness, jaw fractures and neck injuries by helping to avoid situations where the lower jaw gets jammed into the upper jaw.
Bonding
An alternative to veneers is a process called bonding, in which a tooth-colored material that looks like the enamel of your teeth is molded and shaped, and then hardened and polished. Bonding can be used to improve the color of a tooth, or close unsightly gaps.
Bonding is generally not as permanent a process as veneers, and can be vulnerable to the same kind of staining your natural teeth are prone to. Bonding can also be more prone to chips and cracks than veneers.
